"Dangerous" Dave Land (1945-2007)

The AMF Band lost a good friend and big music fan this past week. Dave Land passed away on Thursday 8/30/07.

A truly nice person, Dave was always getting up on stage and playing guitar with lots of the bands including us. He played and sang a song he had just written with us one final time last Friday night.

We will all miss him...

Sad news

I was very saddened to hear about Dave. His association and friendship with the AMF Band goes back a long way. We enjoyed Dave on many occasions. It seems ironic that the last time we saw him, he was on stage with us singing a song he wrote and then he's gone.
Everyone remember to leave a little space at the end of the bar in case he drops in. We'll miss you Dave.

R.I.P. Dave

Terrible news about Dave's passing. He was such a nice guy and I always enjoyed talking with him at the LT. We will miss him and send our prayers and condolences to his family.

Dave will be missed!

I'm so sorry to hear the news. Dave made me feel really welcomed from the first time I stepped into The Lakeside Tavern. He will be greatly missed!

Doug

Oh, no!

I just saw the news about Dave. What horrible news! Dave was one of the first people to come up and welcome Big Boss Man when we were loading in for our initial gig at the Tavern back in January. I always looked forward to shaking his hand and saying hello. What a nice guy and a heck of a music fan. His family and friends are in my thoughts.

Dave

He loved you guys too. He always talked about BBM and never failed to ask me when you guys were coming back to LT...
