I started learning Guitar at 12, and at 16 played with my 1st bar band. I played with Dexter Ridenour in a band called the Melody Makers. A couple of years later, I formed a band called The Midnight Special and played around the state for a couple of years. Got tired of out of town gigs so I joined a house band at a joint called Hopkins Inn. The lead guitar player was Lenny Jones and he was state champion guitar player and well known. I quit playing for a while after that and then hooked up with Frank and just jammed with him till the big "Goldwing Party" (first AMF gig) and the rest is history...
